One answer is through domestic “study away” programs, which are rapidly expanding as experiences closer to home break down barriers of inequity, enabling more students the opportunity to learn about cultures beyond the borders of their campus.
While domestic “study away” opportunities are not new, a growing number of college and university leaders are now seeing them in a new light.
